Soccer game vs School of the Nations on Friday 7pm

Soccer game: BIS vs School of the Nations

The game will be in the gym of School of the Nations. On Friday 11/18/2011 from 7pm to 8:30pm.

Warm up will begin at 7pm and the game will start at 7:10pm. All students that are on the soccer team are welcome to come (if possible). There will be two consecutive games, one for the varsity team and one for the JV team. All players will play one game and watch/ support the other game. So all players are expected to be there from 7pm to 8:30pm.

School of the Nations is located in Lago Sul

JV soccer game on Wednesday 6pm, at Notre Dame

Wednesday the JV team (Junior High students) have a game at Notre Dame (914 Sul, next to our school).
All JV players need to fill out the bottom of the attached letter and return it to me.

IPN invites our soccer team to musical at their church Sunday night.

Dear parents and students,

Thanks to all who came to the game today at Igreja Presbiteriana Nacional (IPN). We had a great time and I am proud of our team for the way we played.
Great job boys and girls!

The team that we played against, IPN's youth group, is presenting their musical this Sunday at 7pm at the church (906 Sul, Igreja Presbiteriana Nacional). They've invited us to come
and watch them sing. Should be great! Hope to see you there.

Soccer game on Saturday 11/05

Soccer news – 11/03/2011

Dear students and parents,

Congratulations to our JV team for their win over the team from 304 Sul. The final score was 8 to 7 for BIS. It was a fun and exciting game. I am proud of our team for their effort and sportsmanship.

Our next game is on Saturday 11/05/2011 at Igreja Presbiteriana Nacional (IPN), which is located at 906 Sul. They have a futsal court on the back of their property.

Schedule for Saturday:

- Both teams (Varsity and JV) will play.

- 10:00 am – Varsity team will play against IPN.

- 10:30am – JV team will play against IPN.

- 11:00am - We will mix our team with IPN's team and play for fun.

- 12:00pm – End of activities. Go home.

This is an outdoor facility, so we are dependent on the weather. In case of rain we will cancel the game. If in doubt call me (8144-2220) or check our blog (www.coachbatista.blogspot.com) for the latest info.

Directions:

- Go to 906 Sul (in Asa Sul)

- Once you see the church Igreja Presbiteriana Nacional (big church), you will take the first right after the church (this is the road between the chuch and Escola Canarinho).

- This road will lead you to the back of the property where you will find the futsal court (in the very back).

- There is plenty of parking near the court.

There will be two games, one for the JV and one for the Varsity.

Wednesday, 11/09/2011

From 6pm to 7pm

At Notre Dame – 914 Sul, next to BIS

JV vs. Notre Dame

This game was scheduled for 11/2/2011, but since that is a holiday the game was postponed to the following Wednesday (11/09/11).

Soccer players from the JV team are welcome to stay at BIS from 3:15pm until 5:45pm and then walk to Notre Dame with coach Batista for the game.

For the students that choose to stay at school until game time we'll order pizza for a snack and eat at 4:30pm. Please bring R$15.

Pick up will be at Notre Dame at 7pm.
