Parents/ Teachers vs Students - Soccer next Saturday (04/18/15)

Games this Saturday and next Saturday...
Soccer games on Satruday, April 11th.
BIS vs Clube das Nações.
We will have several soccer games on Saturday. See details below for the time of your game.
Who: Elementary and Secondary soccer players.
Where: BIS
When: Saturday, April 11th.
Times : 9:00 to 10:00, students 6 to 8 years old on court #1
9:00 to 10:00, students 9 and 10 years old on court #2
10:00 to 11:00, students 11 and 12 years old on court #1.
10:00 to 11:00, students 13 and 14 years old on court #2.
11:00 to 12:00, High School students on court #2.
12:20pm, all students go home.
Important Reminders:
Arrive at BIS 20 minutes before your game starts!
Bring your water bottle and a snack.
Players must wear shin guards (not provided by BIS) in order to play.
Plan your transportation ahead of time. See details above to be picked up on time at the end of the game.
Sign the permission slip on the next page to participate.
You will receive two copies of this note. Please return the signed copy to the school office and keep the other copy for your records.

Parents/Teachers vs. Students
We will have several soccer games on Saturday. See details below for the time of your game. This event is for the junior high and high school (grades 7-12). However, elementary students are still encouraged to attend and cheer for The Eagles if they are supervised by their parents.
Our PAO (Parents Assisting Others) will be selling baked goods and/or other items!
Who: All Parents/Teachers and Secondary (JH & HS) soccer players.
Where: BIS
When: Saturday, April 18th.
Times : 4:00pm arrive at BIS
4:15pm to 5:30pm play soccer
5:45pm go home.
Important Reminders:
Bring your water bottle
Plan your transportation ahead of time. See details above to be picked up on time at the end of the game.

Art Contest - U.S. Embassy.
"In order to commemorate Earth Day, which takes place on April 22, the U.S. Embassy is planning a series of events to raise awareness of our environment that will take place throughout the week of April 20. We are sponsoring an art contest which is open to students from first through twelfth grades from three international schools (EDN, BIS, and EAB). On April 24, winners – one each from lower, middle, and upper schools - will receive a certificate presented by Ambassador Ayalde along with an ITunes gift certificate. Selected art work will be displayed in the Embassy lobby.
The theme for the contest will be "What Can I Do to Make a Difference?"
Please distribute this announcement to your student body. Entries, which will be judged by the Embassy's Green Committee, will be due by April 16; and an Embassy representative will collect them on that day.
